Day 16

A picture of someone who inspires you.

This is Jessa. We went to middle school together. We lost touch for awhile then one day I found a blog that she created. http://birthmothers4adoption.blogspot.com/ I was curious why she would create such a blog so, little curious me went digging to find out why.
I found out that after she graduated, she went and joined the military (can't remember which branch) and during basic, she met a guy, thought it was love, and got pregnant. From what I got, the guy was a flake and left her alone to go through all that by herself. She is also LDS. She wasterrified to tell her parents, but she did it and they were able to help her and support her during that time in her life. She came to a conclusion that she wanted to adopt this baby out. The adoption of her daughter has changed her life and I can't believe the amazing things she has done! She is now married in the temple to a guy who treats her like she should be treated; like a queen! She has put adoption more out there so girls know what they are getting into and are more informed which is awesome because its sad how many women choose to abort :(
It inspires me that through the trial and hardship she went through, she has been able to make it into a positive solution for her and others!
(for those of you who may not know, the reason this is so inspirational to me is because when I was a senior in high school, my mom was pregnant from her 2nd marriage that was going downhill and my mom did not know how to be a new mom and full time working mom to support the children she already had, so, she received her answer from prayer that she should put my sister up for adoption. My mom and my ex-step-dad got divorced the same month she was born. She turns 4 this May and I can't WAIT 'til I can meet her again!)

Your celebrity crush.

I'm kinda lame and I never really have ever had a "celebrity crush". There are famous people I think are cute but, no one worth obsessing over. I think thats ridiculous.

But Cam Gigandet?! Can you say yummy!? :D
Also, I could listen to Sean Connery talk ALL day :)
I love guys with dark hair, mysterious eyes, and scruff on the face. (baby face is a turn OFF for me)
It takes a certain type of blond guy to catch my attention,
and I LOVE red hair even though there are not many cute red heads out there, but, they exist!

  1. I love that adoption blog. I'm so glad you have it linked to your page. I was just reading what blogs you have linked one day and I saw it. I read posts on it for hours. Did I tell you that I'm pretty sure I worked with Jessa up in Logan for a short time? Small world, eh?
