WAY LATE Day 25

A picture of my day.

My day consisted of Moving (which is why I have been so delayed on my challenge)

AND

Working. Pretty much, I'm EXHAUSTED.

What's in your purse.

my keys, 2 books, 2 movies, mail, garbage, church stuff, work stuff, carrots, my wallet, chocolate, my journal, mace, pens, gum, a crumber, a bookmark, and chap stick.

Day 24

A picture of something you wish you could change.

The question is; what DON'T I want to change? There's lots of things through out my life I wish I could change.

Ummmmm.........
I think this is my winner.

I am so sick and tired of living here! I have lived here 11 years now and I WANT TO GET OUT! I want to get my own place and move on in my life and I want a place that I CAN call my own. This place has become a black hole and I am done.

A photo of something that means a lot to you.

Yeah . . . I am never going to forget this day. Ever. This was a moment that I knew I had to take a picture of or I would regret it forever. This was placement day of my 1/2 sister, Ella. Can't believe this was almost 4 years ago already.

Day 23

A picture of your favorite book.

Well, we all know that there is no such thing as a single favorite for anything in "Ashley world", so, I just put them all together for ONE picture.

About 98% of these books are all series, so, I don't have every single book there, but, you get the idea. I pretty much live in a fantasy world. These are all my top favorite books/series of all time!

15 facts about you.

Didn't I already do this on Day 1?

I'm gonna try and talk Dallin into writing 15 facts about since I already did some for myself . . . .

Day 22

A picture of something you wish you were better at.

I pretty much FAIL at being a house wife. I hate cooking, I hate cleaning; I hate it all! When I was younger, my mind was SET on having a full time career when I 'grew up'. I had no desire to be a stay at home mom; I don't even remember if I wanted to have children or not, actually. I know that all I wanted when I was younger (and my brother and sister COMPLETELY agree with this) is that we did not want any children we had to have the same childhood we did.

I've had several "chastisement's" about wanting a career over being a stay at home mom, and I am more willing about it now, but, when I sit and think about it, I REALLY just don't want to stay home and do the same things day after day. Having a job just seems more rewarding, especially if you went to school for it and it's something you have always wanted to do.

PLUS the thought of ever being a mom scares me and I have been concerned on if we can even have children or not, but, either way, we are not ready for children now or anytime soon.

Also

I've never been very good about saying "I love you".

A letter to someone who has hurt you recently.

Honestly, I'm hard to offend. The only people that can hurt me are my family and those I consider family; like best friends. This happened 2 years ago, but, this was the last major heart break I've had, so, it's still recent to me. This letter is 2 years old and to my once-upon-a-time best friend.

Dear Ashton,

If you read this, fine, but, I somehow doubt it. I have learned more from you in the week we have not been friends, than in the 2 - 3 years we were friends. We had had this conversation before; how laid back you are VS how stressed out I get. I think with how laid back you are, you dont care as much. So, when I would say stuff about Kat, you would not defend her, you would just justify why she is the way she is. And I'm sure it was the same the other direction.
I have realized that I used you to fill the void that my dad and brother created by not really being in my life, and I let myself attach to you. You know how many guys I've dated, and all the ups and downs I have gone through. Of all the guys in my life, not including family, you have broken my heart the most. I think it hurt the most because, you were my best friend and I never saw it coming; and then I got blind sighted from you. And the best part is, you don't seem like you care. Looks like you picked up something from your "wonderful" girlfriend. I honestly dont see whats so wonderful about her. When you get married, her family is your family and the other way around. How does it feel knowing your family doesnt like the person you would like to spend the rest of your life with? Your friends? Oh, wait, you pushed them all away. And the ones you do have, how long will they last? Who are you going yo go to when times get tough? Well, knowing your mom, I dont think she is gonna want to do anything that will have to do with her, but, then again, I dont truly know your mom.
Do you remember the night you called me up crying? I felt so honored that I was the one you called. I thought then that you had learned your lesson; she had cheated on you, she didnt accept you for who you are by forcing you to go to church when you didnt want to. And what do you do, you go crawling back to her . . . WHY!? Were you too lazy to go on dates with other people?! Wanted the sex?! It definitely was NOT her "fun outgoing" personality, she is NOT a people person, and is NOT friendly! I know that Cade could vouch for that. How grateful I am that you got stuck with her! If Cade did and I had her for a sister-in-law!?!?!?! I don't even want to think about it . . I am SO glad Cade dumped her butt! I can only imagine dating someone SO possesive would only be miserable! How do you go out and have fun? Because you cant hang out with friends because she doesnt like anybody!
The ONLY good thing that has come out of this, is I can let you go. It hurts, but sometimes you have to let good things fall apart to let better things fall together.

I am in my third serious relationship. I am an open book and I always figured I would have no problem opening up and giving myself to someone. I have opened myself up as much as I could but always felt I could not give all of myself. Why? Because that last part that was needed to give was already taken. I had given it to you not realizing I had. Not until it had to be broken to be removed. I can finally move on and try to find my "happily ever-after". You were holding me back.
I'm going to miss you, more than you will ever know. But honestly, I think I got the best thing to come out of this. She has made you miserable once, and she will make you miserable again. I know for a FACT that you two will not last. The only way I believe that you two will live "happily ever after", is the day I read your obituary that you two died in each others arms old, and gray.
Im just glad that you two are having a boy, he needs to be more like you. A girl would surely take after Kat, and we dont need another one in the world, one has already done enough damage. One day, you will realize what you REALLY want in life; and I thought I was a late bloomer . . .

Like I said when I broke down in tears, Nice knowing you.

Day 21

As I fore-warned, this is going to be hard. The "happy picture" is obviously going to be a ton easier than the other. There are countless things in my life I wish I could forget.

Todays topics are:

A picture of something you wish you could forget.

The sad thing is, is I have forgotten a lot of my life already. I feel like I was never a kid; I only remember things from the last 10 years or so. A lot of things happened when I was a kid that I didn't want to remember and thats exactly what I did. I've blocked out about half of my life, and most of it was my childhood so, I feel like I was never a kid and probably why I feel like I don't do well with kids. My brother and sister will talk about things and they ask me if I remember and I have no clue what they are talking about and they'll say, "But you were right there!" - sorry. I don't remember ANYTHING. It's kinda sad that I've mastered this coping mechanism but, I think thats part of the reason why I can keep going in my life; I HAVE to forget to move on.

But, I think I have to agree with my friend, Rachel. It's not a something I want to forget; its someones I want to forget. I don't want to say names, but, there are a lot of people I wish I could just forget.

A photo of something that makes you happy.

Puppies make me happy. :D Dallin will go on Youtube just to find some freakishly adorable puppy video just hear me squeal with glee and say "AWW!" a million times. I LOVE dogs. They bring me a happiness that nothing else can! :)

Here's 2 of the puppy videos that make me happy.

This is my fav!

Day 20

Luckily, today is easy. Next 2 days are going to be tough-ies.

A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel.

Yes, I did this pic for day 15, but, it applies here, too.

The meaning behind your blog name.

Well, our web address to get here is ashesndallin & I figure thats kinda self explanatory. TheFord Mustang Lovers could be taken 2 ways, but, the main reason is We're married, our last name is Ford, and we are both lovers of mustangs.

We DID have mustangs on our wedding cake, ya know ;)

2nd way would be that (obviously) we are lovers as well.

Day 19

A picture of you when you were little.

I realize it said "little" not a "baby" but, I was an awkward kid, so, I'll just spare everybody.
Plus, wasn't I a cute baby!? LOL! Gotta love taking pictures of pictures.

Another picture of yourself.

Why?

So, i am incredibly indecisive, so, I chose these 2, I'm not sure why.
I do miss my dark hair and I do miss the bubbly, quirky side of me.

Day 18

A picture of your biggest insecurity.

I hate my body. I always have. I'm short - and thats the only thing small about me; everything else is BIG and I hate it! I've always been "big boned". I don't ever remember being under a size 5; that was about 6th grade. I first became over weight in about 9th/10th grade then I was able to stabilize my weight for a few years. Until I got married; then I gained a lot of weight in a very short amount of time and now I am bordering the "obese" line in my height/weight ratio. I HATE my body. I don't know how to diet, exercise or eat right.

I also feel very insecure as a wife; I don't know how to be one.

Something you crave a lot.

I am hopelessly addicted to sugar. I don't think it's as bad as it was before, but, sometimes I swear I have had withdrawals if I don't have a piece of candy or a cookie for a day or two.

REDO!

I want to re-do Day 5 part B.

A picture of your favorite memory.

At first I didn't know what to do, but, as I have been going along in the challenge and looking through my pictures, I found a picture that made me smile and thought it was fitting and appropriate.

The last couple trips I've made to Seattle to see my mom, we have talked about doing a day trip to Forks. So, when I went up for Thanksgiving last year, we finally went!

In this picture, Amber, Harlin and I are on La Push beach where it was raining and freezing! But, we ran out to the ocean anyway and we had so much fun! I am not a "Twilight" fanatic, but, we figured, we are just a few hours away, why not?
Wish we could have gotten mom in the picture!

***************************************************************

Ok, this has nothing to do with the "re-do", but, I re-discovered this picture and HAD to throw it in!

This picture describes my mom almost perfectly! Wondering whats on her head? It's an XBOX 360 headset for XBOX LIVE.
My mom has been able to enjoy her life the last 3 years or so and the last time she was able to do that was before my mom and dad even knew each other. Meaning, my mom was not happy with her life for a long time. She was excited when she turned 40 because her youngest child was 18 and she is still young enough to go and play. I am happy my mom is no longer depressed and has her life back :) She likes to play, laugh and have fun :)
LOVE YOU MOM!

Photobucket

Day 17

A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently.

I have seriously thought about this for about 2 days and I have no clue what to put up/say. My life has pretty much been the same about the last 3 years or so, so, I don't know what to put up. If the word 'recently' wasn't there, there would be a TON of things I could say.

A photo of you and your family.

Well, unfortunately, a photo of me and my entire family does not exist and probably never will. (considering half of my family hates each other.)
So, all I can do is multiple pictures to show everybody.

My step dad Marc, and my mom. My mom is taller than me, so Marc is huge!

My sister Amber and step-sister Sarah that I have never met.

Me, Mom, Cade, Amber, and Ella (half sister) before we placed her.

A picture of Ella more grown up. She turns 4 this year!

Dallin's family.
(top left) Kendall, Dallin, Kevin, Jae, Conner, Weston,
Me, Denise, Ansley, & Karen.

My step sister Becky, my Dad, Katie, step-mom Tammy, Robert, and Rachel.
(the younger 3 are 1/2 siblings and my step mom is pregnant with a little girl thats due in June 2011.)

My nephew and niece, Harlin and Camdynn. :)

Thats everybody!

Day 16

A picture of someone who inspires you.

This is Jessa. We went to middle school together. We lost touch for awhile then one day I found a blog that she created. http://birthmothers4adoption.blogspot.com/ I was curious why she would create such a blog so, little curious me went digging to find out why.
I found out that after she graduated, she went and joined the military (can't remember which branch) and during basic, she met a guy, thought it was love, and got pregnant. From what I got, the guy was a flake and left her alone to go through all that by herself. She is also LDS. She wasterrified to tell her parents, but she did it and they were able to help her and support her during that time in her life. She came to a conclusion that she wanted to adopt this baby out. The adoption of her daughter has changed her life and I can't believe the amazing things she has done! She is now married in the temple to a guy who treats her like she should be treated; like a queen! She has put adoption more out there so girls know what they are getting into and are more informed which is awesome because its sad how many women choose to abort :(
It inspires me that through the trial and hardship she went through, she has been able to make it into a positive solution for her and others!
(for those of you who may not know, the reason this is so inspirational to me is because when I was a senior in high school, my mom was pregnant from her 2nd marriage that was going downhill and my mom did not know how to be a new mom and full time working mom to support the children she already had, so, she received her answer from prayer that she should put my sister up for adoption. My mom and my ex-step-dad got divorced the same month she was born. She turns 4 this May and I can't WAIT 'til I can meet her again!)

Your celebrity crush.

I'm kinda lame and I never really have ever had a "celebrity crush". There are famous people I think are cute but, no one worth obsessing over. I think thats ridiculous.

But Cam Gigandet?! Can you say yummy!? :D
Also, I could listen to Sean Connery talk ALL day :)
I love guys with dark hair, mysterious eyes, and scruff on the face. (baby face is a turn OFF for me)
It takes a certain type of blond guy to catch my attention,
and I LOVE red hair even though there are not many cute red heads out there, but, they exist!

Day 15

A picture of something you want to do before you die.

I want to design my own home.

and I want to travel the world. Some laces to see the beauty of somewhere, but, most places are because of historical purposes. I LOVE history!

Something you don't leave the house without.

I pretty much never leave with out having shoes, clothes, and my cell phone. Everything else varies.
